Frequently Asked Questions

Is Porchfest free to attend?

Yes! Porchfest is completely free for all attendees. We encourage you to bring cash to tip the musicians and support the SAP Neighborhood.

Can I bring food and drinks?

Absolutely! Feel free to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Please note that if you bring alcoholic beverages, you must consume them on private property — only with the owner's permission — and only in accordance with local laws. Public consumption of alcohol is not permitted.

Is Porchfest family-friendly?

Yes! Porchfest is designed to be welcoming for all ages. Many locations will have space for children to dance and enjoy the music. Some host locations may even offer activities specifically for kids.

Are restrooms available?

Some hosts locations may also offer restroom access, though this is at the discretion of individual hosts. If a location offers restroom access, it will be indicated on the map.

Can I bring my pet?

Well-behaved pets on leashes are generally welcome in outdoor areas, but please be considerate of other attendees and musicians. Some host locations may have restrictions regarding pets, so watch for signage at individual venues.

What if it rains?

Porchfest is a rain or shine event! Many hosts have covered areas, and some may provide tents in case of light rain. In the event of severe weather, check our website. You might consider bringing a small umbrella just in case, so you can continue enjoying the music even if there's a light drizzle — or bright sun! 🤞

How do I get around between performances?

Most attendees walk or bike between venues. We recommend comfortable shoes! Limited street parking is available for those who need to drive. Our interactive map will help you plan your route efficiently.
